A rising voice in jazz, clarinetist, saxophonist, and composer Hillai Govreen has shared the stage with George Cables, Allison Miller, George Colligan, Eric McPherson and more. Her music is marked by lyrical improvisation, intricate compositions, and a sound that is both deeply personal and forward-looking.
